Job Title: Digital Analytics Specialist

Reports to: Director, Digital Marketing and Strategy

Job Summary: The Digital Analytics Specialist is responsible for assisting in the tracking and digital reporting of ASHP’s comprehensive digital marketing initiatives.  Responsibilities will focus on providing a full view of all of our digital marketing efforts through the lens of data and reporting. This role will work within a wide variety of digital channels and digital reporting including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), web site metrics, digital marketing metrics, reporting processes and digital marketing best practices.  Must be able to clearly analyze and communicate channel performance and campaign results, as well as assist in making recommendations based on insights. This person will support all stakeholders, so collaborating with staff is a key component of the role.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform day-to-day analytics responsibilities, which include leveraging Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel and data visualization tools and techniques to gather and analyze data, and surface relevant insights.
  2. Responsible for producing scheduled (e.g., Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports) and ad hoc/one time report requests.
  3. Create custom views, create filters, customer reports and dashboards in Google Analytics.
  4. Work strategically with the Digital Marketing and Strategy team to help set digital reporting best practices and help our data driven culture at ASHP.
  5. Assist the Director, Digital Marketing and Strategy in creating and managing the taxonomy and process for UTM tracking in order to better track our digital marketing efforts and campaign success.
  6. Read and analyze digital reports to track and communicate current performance metrics.
  7. Serves as a point of contact for creating and distributing metrics and information and works collaboratively with internal stakeholders across internal teams to share data driven information across the organization.
  8. Assists in the implementation and testing of forms, website design and other tactics to optimize our digital work.
  9. Conducts stakeholder-specific analyses, including campaign analysis, customer segmentation and profiling, retention analysis.
  10. Contribute to work across all digital marketing channels.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree in related field preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing).
  • Flexibility to shift priorities quickly within a fast-paced work environment.
  • One to three years of relevant work experience in digital reporting (preferably Google Analytics) and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities quickly within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills-comfortable explaining concepts, options and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Good project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn more about digital analytics and digital marketing.
  • Prior knowledge and hands on experience working within Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel and producing web traffic reports is required
  • Proficiency in data visualization, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and basic functions, such as email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, web management, Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC), etc.
