Job Title: ASHP Executive Fellowship in Association Leadership and Management

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President

Job Summary: The Executive Fellowship is a paid 12-month program housed at ASHP Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, that provides fellow(s) with hands-on training in all facets of not-for-profit association leadership and management.

  3. Membership Recruitment and Retention

  4. Practice and Standards Development

  5. Publishing

  6. Marketing and Sales

  7. Strategic Planning

  8. Finance

  9. Human Resources

  10. Governance

  11. Public Relations

  12. Educational Program Development

  13. Information Technology

  14. Product and Program Development

  15. Accreditation

  16. Conference and Convention Management

  17. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
  • Eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state or territory
  • Candidates who have completed an ASHP-accredited residency are also eligible to apply
  • Strong involvement as a volunteer leader
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and emotional intelligence
